The Summer Camps were fabulous as always! Roy Woodall, our camp
director, did another great job with the all volunteer staff this year.
One unusual thing about our camps this year was the number of campers
involved. Two of our camps almost doubled in size. Fortunately for us, a
church in Texas donated a bus to us last Fall. At the time, I wasn't
sure we wanted the extra expense of obtaining and maintaining the bus.
However, we were most thankful for the added room on the extra bus when
we transported close to 100 people to the various off-campus events each
afternoon. Isn't God good?
A big "thank you" to everyone who has helped financially or in
other ways to produce a camp that has deeply affected the spiritual
lives of these young Deaf people. We look forward to your reward in
heaven! The impact of God's Word upon these youth is without limit or
measure.

We are
anticipating a whole new expansion for our Summer Camps this year. Loving
Hands Ranch is negotiating with a very large private Camp about
seven miles south of Sulphur on the shores of the Arbuckle Lake. They
have a vast amount of equipment that would greatly enhance the
recreational opportunities for our own campers. Although we would still
have our services, our meals, and our sleeping quarters here, we would
have a greatly expanded area for increased activities, including indoor
recreation if it rains. God is so good!
As always, I hope you will pray for the
kids and the LHR staff. The only effectual camp is one where the Spirit
of the Lord is working in the hearts of those who attend.

The thought of Summer Camps may be far from the minds of families and
kids. But, for us at LHR, this is the time of fervent work and
preparation. That preparation includes a lot of brainstorming and
discussion. It includes a lot of planning and physical maintenance. It
includes a lot of office work and communication. But, just as
importantly, it requires a spiritual warfare. The Bible says we wrestle
against spiritual wickedness in high places. So, any precious moments
you may think of LHR and it's outreach to Deaf Youth, ask God for open
doors in our preparations, and shutting down any wicked attempts by
spiritual agents to prevent these kids from knowing Christ! God's Word
tells us, he expects us to be victorious in His Name!! Amen.
Working and praying victoriously,

Thank you for your help in reaching Deaf people
for Christ!
We're one year closer to the Kingdom of God coming to earth like it is
in heaven!
Of course, the Bible teaches that deception will be at
an all-time-high, and the power of darkness will rule just before Jesus
comes. Therefore, we at Loving Hands Ranch purpose in our hearts to be
faithful and work as hard as we can before "the hour comes when no
man can work".
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the
moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them
for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the
earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see
the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when
these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your
heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:25-28
